KÖY Zekeriyaköy
For KÖY Zekeriyaköy project included a variety of residences ranging from small apartments to villas with swimming pools. Toner designed the common spaces, interiors of the apartments and the retail office, while English firm Hopkins Architects undertook the master planning.
The interior design of this project, in which Hopkins Architects successfully created a modern style with traditional Turkish architectural influences, was diversely conceptualized by Toner by referencing the out-of-town style of living and by fortifying KÖY’s promise of sustainable life. The project appealed to a broad audience by virtue of its variety in types of residences, and was designed in close proximity with the marketing department. Toner team reformulated the English architectural firm’s planning to better fit Turkish habits, and the project’s infrastructure.
